Breakfast at Tiffany's, Lunchtime at Katie's
I love coming home for lunch- not only do I get a break from the chav-infested jungle that is our school, but I get to eat nice food, the time passes slower, and I can just lounge around and do my nails. Lovely.
I also get to listen to Colin and Edith on Radio 1, today's topical chat was about funny names, with Peaches Geldof announcing that she'd like to call her daughter Cherry Vanilla or Angel Delight. Not sure about naming your little girl after a snot-flavoured goo that is really just all of the leftover bits from some factory floor disguised as a desert, but I think Cherry Vanilla is so cute!! I love unusual names- I reckon they're inventive and interesting, I mean how bored would u get with a kid called Jane? or John? Booooriiiing! If I had a girl I'd call her something like Tiger-lily..or Sparkle!..or Faith.. or how about...Pixi! Love it.
In other news this week, I've added a mega *Jukebox!* to my site, so you can listen to some of my favourite tunes while having a look around- currently have the brand-spanking new track from The Pipettes,if you havent heard from them yet let me fill you in! They're a funky, Joan Jett-esque girl trio of glam-rock with attitude. Love them! Also on there we've got a bit of Jack Johnson- my favourite song off the album which is guaranteed to make you want to stay in bed all day eating Banana Pancakes. Or...is that just me?? lol, also an awesome track from The Raconteurs, whose website you really must check out- its kinda like a retro game of space invaders where you've gotta use your keyboard to move around..and a few other great tunes on there too. You mite want 2 turn off the crossfader-it continues to piss me off because it fades out about half of the song lol- any song suggestions and I'll get them on for u! This week I have fallen in love with a MEGA new range of tights on Lady Luck Rules OK! , theyre all so cute I cant choose which ones i want the most; would I look better cruising the streets of the funk capital of Hertfordshire with leopard print legs or footless, Minnie-Mouse style polka dots....such a hard decision...
I had my grade 5 violin exam, which was fine, all went well n evrything! (By the way have become aware of an increasing number of relatives visiting the site, however i refuse to tone down my language. If you think you may be offended, please fuck off now. Thanx!)
More mega stuff coming up dudes, although I've got a hard act to follow...surely it can't get more mega than an awesome jukebox to accompany an awesome blog?!
Peace out
Katie xx
