Bare Hadouken love

HOW WICKED ARE THEY?!
I won't mention nu rave- in their own words, "Every time a journalist types the words 'new rave,' an unsigned band somewhere suffocates and dies...". But.. Hadouken! are Klaxonic, just rougher and with a few more glo-sticks chucked in. Love love love them.
And i get mega blog envy every time I visit theirs-
real time collage. Ace pics. Ace videos. Ears to the ground music. I'd better raise me game.
Might have to add them to the growing list of gigs for '07 along with the Fratellis, Nude Girls (again) and Dorp (again)..
Gotta dash (to continue counting down the minutes till the Green Wing Christmas spesh at 10) but before I do- watch out for my 'one to watch' interview coming soon on pink-world.co.uk!

no loud noises or bright lights please...ouch..

Blimey. It's 2.06 pm on new years' day, 2007, and I'm still in my pjs. Which can only mean it was a great night. The floor is still littered with the post-party residue of cocktail sausages, streamers and empty bottles, and the sounds of out-of-tuned screaming to love machine and man I feel like a woman is still ringing in my ears. There was the perfect amount of dancing, drama and laughter to get the year started, i reckon! Thanks to everyone who came! Also Becca I've found your 
camera, it was hidden in between a couple of broken glasses and that stringy stuff that comes out of party poppers.
I can't believe 2006 has gone so fuckin quickly..?! It's been a wicked year with lots of laughs- had the best summer ever this year, made loadsa new mates and that... 2007's gonna be ace! We can drive!! (and dj yeah i WILL beat u at drivin, bring it biatch). I haven't made any new years' resolutions this year- which i think is probably a good thing; I always vow to drop about 8 dress sizes and never drink again, but it always seems to backfire horribly.
I have declined an offer of a dog walk with my parents in favour of hoovering up in my dressing gown. Nice. So happy new year to everyone and hope your head isn't spinning as much as mine is this afternoon!
