Did Someone Say 'Limo'??
Welcome, one and all, to the amazing blog of Katie "the style queen" C. That's right, its official, I have been named by Heidi Seeker on the last comments page as, and i quote, 'a beacon of style' for pointing her in the direction of awesome band The Pipettes. It is most definitely my finest hour.
I know it's been a while dear reader, I hate to neglect you like this but the work is actually never ending. Don't despair though, I've got some lovely treats for you- check out The Blues Man for a way of filling up an hour or two with mindless groovy music. Its addictive- it actually makes you think you can play the blues! Also this week went to see the infamous Voltage live.. I love those guys like...like a fat kid loves candy-coloured cupcakes. They rock.
So the mysterious birthday party of my two best gals that had been kept under wraps for weeks was revealed to us last saturday: we arrived at Eve's to be greeted with a beautiful,
shiny stretch limousine, waiting to drive us starlets around the funk capital, waving and shouting out of the tinted windows to innocent passers-by..the highlight has to be accidentally turning into Chav Avenue.. we then returned to Charlie's Angel's house for a swanky meal with candles and balloons and champagne and everything...what fun it was..... !Hands up: Who saw Green Wing on friday? I cannot believe she kissed him at the end!! Donkey Boy! Who's ideal woman is "Bendy, shaved, sliightly anorexic, about..5% lesbian, and not too smelly...in the cellar." Shocking. Hands up: who reckons I watch this waaay too much.... Speaking of which, bring on the (what shall now be annual) Green-Wing-a-thon!! A non-stop series 1 Green Wing bonanza shall take place sometime soon- we have coffee, we have popcorn, and we have 428 minutes of pure comic genius. Its gonna happen.
Its the j-j-j-j-JUKEBOX! (This is my official jukebox picture now btw- see the joy that good music evokes in that woman in green? Exactly.) And seeing as it was the hottest day of the year today I've treated you to a bit of smiley happy sunshine goodness from the likes of the Go! Team and Joan Jett, I've got my mitts on a Kinks classic (finally!), Summer of 69 (the proper one), and Boys of summer, my new favourite song. And theres a cute Franz Ferdinand covering Gwen Stefani track- to get me in the mood for.... Leeds! I have been miraculously blessed by my dad with two tickets to an awesome rock-fest this august- am most excited about seeing the Raconteurs, dirty pretty things, primal scream, Panic! at the disco, the automatic, maximo park, fall out boy....... now all i need is someone who also has tickets to dance and jump around with. My dad doesnt really fit that criteria..
It's gonna be another hard workin' week- if you're bored while waiting for the next post why not check out Ze Frank's show, take a look at the shows from the past couple of days, ('s-s-s-s-something from the comments') it makes me giggle in times of immensely crushing emotional pressure. What more could you ask for?
Thanks to everyone posting comments (im gonna sort out this fucking clock issue that has arisen- seeing as so many people are unable to handle not having the right digits on the screen to correspond with the actual time...) , so come onnn we've gotta beat 11 this week! Newbies and loyal readers alike, you can do it.
Last textiles exam tommorrow- good luck to everyone, and then it's a karate-packed weekend with a grading on Saturday and a tournament on Sunday, it's
fab-- they get the little girls to defend themselves against the tough men, basically meaning i get to hit guys and they dont mind. Aaawesome...Katie xxx

Talking of limos... :P
Ok first I was told off for writing a comment for an old blog, then I was told off for writing a comment that was a tad too long, so I'll try and keep it short, but if I don't I apologise in advance.
Ok I'm actually gonna say something about the blog this time...hmmm...I don't think I'll comment on the music...erm...Yea, you better sort that clock out Katie `,:( (It’s an angry face according to Eve.) I shall be returning to see what time my comment was supposedly written at.
And yes you do watch Green Wing far too much but I forgive you as it is like one the best things of all time 'Do I look like a mug?...' I think we all know the end of that sentence. Hmmm...Is there anything else? Well, I guess I could say good luck in textiles..But you've kinda finished, so that's kinda pointless, I hope you did well, I'm sure you did. Well I think that's enough.
By the way I would be happy to post 11 more comments, I'll use false names, look out for Bob, Fred and Larry.

Well, I think I succeeded in writing a shorter comment, haha...Yea I'm gonna work on that.
Oh...I think I gotta say this... "Hello Katie, ur a groovy chick, love the blog etc!"
And I'm gonna keep saying 'I CREATED THE VIDEO!' until it's put in a blog.
Well ta ra for now, keep up the good work.

I just love your blog! Your style of writing will surely win you awards one day, as a beacon of style and as surburban royalty! Your links are really cool too, I've officially fallen in love with the cherry bag on 'heidi seeker'! There's even one in leopard print to go with your 'Lady Luck' tights! I thought you might also like the retro items on this designer's site, http://www.annekyyroquinn.com/. At the moment I am still pondering over the problem of what to go as to your party. I'm planning to search Ebay for a one in a million outfit, but any ideas would be welcome! love th green wing, *hand up* i had better be invited 2 this green-wing-a-thon cos its just b a laugh, i also have a popcorn maker and fondue foutain to offer...hint hint.
how was the textiles exam?? last art exam was today, was pretty damn phat tho i did notice, u all got chocolate when you finished, they must just be keeping ours 4 another time...
leeds u lucky *add your own expletive* i also noticed that you had'nt invited me yet, im waiting...but its ok cos look look 3rd july = Red Hot Chili Peppers so everybody wins heh lavin it.
