I ♥ fairy cakes 4 ever
Can someone please invent a time machine so that this summer will never end..? Thanks. I just got back from two weeks' camping in Watergate Bay, Newquay, where there is an everlasting supply of hot surfers, they don't ask for ID in bars, and there's a stretch of dramatic cliffs overlooking a gorgeous white beach and clear blue seas. Paradise? Just about. And Newquay has
pretty much everything you could ever want- great shops, great food, and an awesome beach... AND a wicked shop/piercing studio/tattoo parlour, which is just like a mini Glastonbury in a room! I spent hours in there getting festified (is that a word?) for Leeds in (eek!) two weeks, leaving with armfuls of rock tees and groupie badges, and (after being dissuaded from the real thing) a wicked butterfly henna tattoo. This ghost town really is very dull in comparison.. I'm not even kidding- there is actually nothing to do here. For example, I have just spent a whole saturday evening watching the Back To The Future trilogy back to back, and eating a whole packet of Maryland Cookies! You get the idea- generally there is nothing here for people our age. I wish I lived in Newquay.
Or Scotland! Scotland rules OK! The land of tartan, McFlies, Evie Baby and HOT windsurfing instructors!! What a laugh that week was.. there was a LOT of cycling, hanging round the loch, playing pool, and many a hilarious game of twister that week. And especially for my four girlies here are some of our memorable quotes, mostly courtesey of Charlie! (everyone else ignore the insanity lol)-

Lol!! Very funny stuff. It was very depressing coming back from a gorgeous, sunny, colourful week with four great friends and cute guys to a grey sky and an abundance of OAPs. How very dull. (thanx to Charlie the art queen for that completely awesome pic above btw!)
Oh well- i have a sparkling new *jukebox* playlist to put some colour into the grey sky! I'm in the mood for a proper disco right now so I've got my new favourite song from the scissor sisters, a totally camp 70's-esque disco tune- love it!.. also some fab tacky dancing anthems, and I'm still in a Back To The Future mood so im putting The Power of Love on there for your listening pleasure... also a couple of songs that we listened to constantly in Scotland...! and I think I'll chuck in a few tracks from the awesome Lily Allen album (listen out for the lyric "there's a fella lookin dapper and he's sittin with a slapper and I see its a pimp and his crack hoare"- pure class), and if you aren't boppin' in your chair like I am right you get your money back. I SO feel like dancing right now- someone should really hold an old skool roller disco with karaoke and bowling and cherry cola and EVERYthing- dont ya think..? First person to organise such an event gets a special musingsofkatie secret prize...!

omg!! ur famous! that is so kl! this lisa person rocks!!
anywho am in scotland right now(duh!) is raining and cold but im tryin to cheer myself up by customising this bag with tonnes of colourfull stuff!! it looks wicked!!
and by the way charlie if ur reading this there ARE PIKE IN THE LOCH!!!! we went to the resturant and they were serving loch inch pike fishcakes!! am now scared of going in the water!!

that tatoo shop sounds v kl and i am also v envyous of u! i am ashamed to say that even though i love to surf i have never been to newquay!! its not right i think we should all go next year me, you, charlie, jess,.....
went windsurfin yesterday am slowly getting better!
on a downer note have skl on tuesday and am v scared!! :( i wont know where to go or what to do! it'll be like year 7 all over again!

PIKE!! salmon in the dishwasher!! i think i have a fish fetish - but i was right in both, as evie baby has proven there rele are pike in the loch & salmon in a dish washer IS a real recipe please someone back me up on this!! lmao at the list - i want ur babies - u still got duncan the moouse??
am having a mini disco in my living room, lovin it! btw on the theme of breakfast at tifany's went to this market in rome & got a wkd retro poster for it in italian & another wkd bob marley poster - did my bit of hagiling got the 2 for 7 euros down from 11. I LOVE ROCK 'N' ROLL! singing alone - woo so out of tune!
neway u shud rele not be complaining about harpenden i have a new apreciation for it - after (for those who havnt heard the stories already) spending 2 weeks in a villa bloody miles from anywhere with no technology, electric lights but thats about it, with my grandma bless bless her, dappy as hell, my grandpa who spent the whooole week compaining and grumbeling, me mum pulling he hair out & my dad in histerics over how rediculas every1 else was being & my bro who i swear i cud shoot at times. neway not meaning to be a spoilt bitch here i was bored as hell and am sooo glad to be home!!!
neway ye better be going am on my 2nd lap of the juke box. hope alls going vell for evie! have a wkd time in leeds u lucky biatch!
