Bond and Moyles, my two favourite guys

I just found the beginnings of a diary i wrote in felt tip on the back of a sheet of card game instructions from Newquay this summer. It reads as follows:

Day one. Today it is raining. We are in the tent with a cup of tea looking out into the greyness. Our gas lamp is swinging and mum comments that it is 'like living on a boat'. I suggest that we play a card game. Mum reminds us that we are only here because we went to India at Christmas. I reply that I'd rather be at home and save the money for the next India trip. Matt starts to read the back of a Crunchy Nut cornflakes packet...

I didn't continue it after that but it would probably have gone something along the lines of 'made a new friend... kissed the guy she liked... she turned out to be a psycho and threw my stuff in a wheelie bin in a drunken rage in the dead of the night...' Spent most of that holiday avoiding what had then become my arch-nemesis so didn't really have time to write any of it down.

This week saw my Mum buying me the cutie guitar strap off of dollydagger that i love which was very awesome, albeit a little indiscretely (and i mean indiscretely- "oi KATE!! I'm buying you this thingy off of that website, anything else you want from it for Christmas???".. Subtlety ain't her thing..) Also just had Parents evening (I'm a 'natural linguist' but i 'don't talk enough in class'. Eh? How does that work..?!) and.... OH MY GOD went to see James Bond.

I can't stress enough how much I love this film. It was proper dark, raw Bond- back to it's roots with not so much of the annoying gadgetery like ridiculous invisible cars and a flying mobile phone with detachable torture weapons and 286 types of culinary utensils included. And Daniel Craig....

HOT!!

That naked torture scene is a stunning piece of cinematography if ever I did see one.

I've stuck the theme tune on the mixtape because it's ace.
Not much else to say this week but I leave you with a clip of Chris Moyles that made me giggle this morning...

Love
