Current mood...
..Excitable!!! Very exciting news in Katie's world right now.
Firstly, it's official: me and rach are jetting off to Tenerife in February- and the flights were booked last night. Goodbye cold, crappy England, hello sun, sea, sand and hotties. Forget Christmas, this is what's getting me so excited nowadays i jump up and down squealing every time i think about it.
Actually, screw that- what's top of my list of exciting events is a (and I swear i'm the only person who's heard of them) Gogol Bordello gig in Brixton tommorrow night. It was tough choice between that and the fireworks which ive been to every year since i was about 4... but... Chris the ledge guitar teacher, who's mates with the manager, offered me two free tickets. Guestlist tickets. And not only that, but I get to meet the band. OH YES!
Although as I say no-ones heard of them, they're a gypsy punk band from New York with this insane frontman (see above..) who are awesome live. They were one of the highlights of Leeds for me- and that's saying a lot- so, as you can imagine, im getting properly little-girl-on-xmas-eve-excited about actually meeting them. EEEEEEEK!!!!!! And it's nearly Rach's birthday, Eve coming down, Christmas, and New Year's Eve!! =D=D Ok.. breathe........
Other news: work shadowing went well and all that, i had a load of people saying to me 'youre dad.... sigh.... he's so good at what he does..'. Which was tiring after a while. If you don't watch C4 news daily at 7pm then you should- theres a lot of work going into that show!! And you can see me dad's name at the end. That's probably my only claim to fame..
Also working at the gym is goin very well- it was the job i was born to do i tell thee. And Sunday is my first day on my own without any help and no clue how anything works so err.. Wish me luck!
p.s Xmas list has gone into production already- so far, a pink polka dot guitar strap from dollydagger.co.uk. I heart it.
p.p.s my 'gorgeous new camouflage pumps' from last week are slicing into my heels and keep miraculously filling up with leaves. I'm bearing it because they are too cute.

hello again!!
wow that has got to be the qickest time between blog posts!! am likin the new katie collett .com better than musingsof which i always spell wrong! the holiday sounds awesome! i may b goin away to barcelona nxt summer with me scottish mates so am also looking forward to sun and hotties!! but atm am mostly lookin forward to snow and inproving me snowboardin skills!! there is allready snow on the hills outside me window!!woop woop!!!!! ok best go now am followin ur lead with short comments. i havent heard of the band either(also cant pronounce their name) but the picture is kl!! like the guitar strap i know wat ur xmas prezzie from me is gonna be...
